Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 September 2026
The short version
- Your text and your audio are yours. You can use the MP3s you create for any lawful purpose, including commercial use.
- Keep your API key secret, and use the voices responsibly: no impersonation, deception or harm.
- The free plan is free within its monthly allowance. Premium comes with an AtlasVoice Pro licence.
- Betas are for testing and may change or have bugs.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Atlas AiDev, Dhaka 1207, Bangladesh (“we” or “us”). They cover the AtlasVoice API, the dashboard at app.atlasvoice.cloud, the AtlasVoice voice service, beta downloads from atlasvoice.cloud, and this website (together, “the service”). By creating an account, using an API key or downloading a beta, you agree to them. If you use the service for a company, you confirm you can agree for that company.
The AtlasVoice WordPress plugins are covered by their own licences. Purchases of AtlasVoice Pro are also covered by the atlasaidev.com terms (opens in a new tab) and refund policy (opens in a new tab).
2. Your account and API keys
- Give us a real email address and keep your account details up to date.
- Keep your API keys secret. Use them from your server, never in browser code. You are responsible for all use of your keys; if one leaks, revoke it in the dashboard straight away.
- A website or app that asks to join an existing account needs the account owner’s approval before it can use the service.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.
3. Plans, allowances and fair use
- Free: a monthly character allowance and a request rate limit, shown in your dashboard and on the API page (opens in a new tab). All free projects in one account share one allowance.
- Premium: a project becomes Premium when you add an AtlasVoice Pro licence to it. Each project uses one of the licence’s seats. Premium has no monthly character limit but keeps a fair-use rate limit.
- We may change allowances, limits or prices. We’ll give you notice before a change that reduces what you already pay for.
- Payments for AtlasVoice Pro are handled by Freemius, our licensing and payment provider.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the service, or any audio it creates, to:
- break any law, or infringe anyone’s rights, including copyright in text you don’t have the right to use;
- impersonate a real person, or make audio designed to mislead people into thinking a real person said something they didn’t;
- create or spread disinformation, fraud, scams or spam;
- harass, threaten, defame or discriminate against people, or promote violence or hatred;
- harm minors in any way;
- make decisions that affect people’s legal rights, jobs, credit, health or safety based on the audio alone;
- present AI-generated speech as a human recording where the law requires you to say it is AI-generated;
- overload, probe, reverse-engineer or get around the service’s limits or security, or share, sell or resell your API keys or access.
Some AtlasVoice voices are built on third-party voice models that are licensed on the condition that these restrictions are passed on to everyone who uses them. By using those voices, you agree to follow them, and to pass the same restrictions on if you let others use audio or voices you create with the service.
5. Your content and your audio
- You own the text you send and the audio you create. You give us permission to process your text only to generate the audio you asked for.
- We don’t store your text, we don’t keep your audio beyond a few minutes, and we don’t use either to train AI. See our Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
- You may use the audio you create for any lawful purpose, including commercial use, as long as you follow these terms.
- You’re responsible for having the rights to the text you send.
6. Beta software
Beta versions let you try new features before their final release. They may contain bugs, change without notice, or be withdrawn, and they are provided “as is”. Test them on a staging site first and keep backups. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them to improve AtlasVoice without owing you anything.
7. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep the service running, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. We may carry out maintenance, and we may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we’ll give account holders reasonable notice.
8. Suspension and ending your account
- You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from the dashboard.
- We may suspend or close an account, project or key that breaks these terms, puts the service or other users at risk, or is used for abuse. Where it’s reasonable, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
9. Disclaimers
Apart from what these terms expressly promise, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. Generated speech may mispronounce words or contain errors; please check audio before relying on it.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Your responsibility to us
If your use of the service, or content you send, breaks these terms or the law and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with that claim.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top, and for important changes we’ll let account holders know by email before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the new terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
