A natural voice for every post. Now free.
AtlasVoice 2.4 is our biggest update yet: audio that sounds the same on every phone and browser, starts playing in seconds, and is far easier to manage. Join the beta to use it first, and help us shape it into a rock-solid final release.

What’s new in the free plugin
Everything below is in version 2.4.0-beta.1.
-
A natural voice, included free
AtlasVoice TTS is now part of the free plugin: 100,000 characters a month, saved as an MP3. Every reader hears the same clear voice on every phone and browser, instead of whatever their device happens to have.
-
Starts playing in seconds
Listeners no longer wait for the whole article. The first part plays within a few seconds while the rest is prepared in the background.
-
Manage audio in the post editor
See a post’s audio, replace it with your own MP3, or delete it, right where you write.
-
Undo an update safely
A new Versions screen lets you go back to an earlier version in a few clicks. It checks compatibility first, so you never land on a version that breaks your site.
-
Set up in a minute, and always know where you stand
Choose your voice in the setup wizard, see your usage on the Dashboard, and get a heads-up before your monthly allowance runs out. If it ever does, your posts keep playing with the browser voice.
Free and Pro

- Bulk MP3 for all your posts, with Google Cloud Storage backup
- Google Cloud, ElevenLabs and OpenAI voices (your own API key, billed by the provider)
- Translated sites: WPML, Polylang, GTranslate and TranslatePress
- Advanced listening analytics and pronunciation fixes

What’s new in AtlasVoice Pro
Everything below is in version 3.5.0-beta.1, together with all the free plugin’s improvements.
-
AtlasVoice Cloud: 380 voices in 47 languages
A new player with far more natural voices, included in your licence with no API key to set up. Meet Sarah, Alex, Emily and seven more Natural voices, plus new languages including Bengali, Marathi, Telugu and Urdu. Listen to any voice before you choose it.
-
Every premium voice starts in seconds
AtlasVoice Cloud, Google Cloud, ElevenLabs and OpenAI voices now start playing while the rest of the article is still being made.
-
The right language on translated pages
With a translation plugin such as GTranslate, each language plays its own audio in the voice you mapped to it, and Bulk MP3 uses each post’s own language.
-
Made once, even on busy pages
A post’s audio is made only once, even when many visitors open it at the same moment. Your Listening screen shows your usage and exactly which voices your licence includes.
-
Pro and free roll back together
The Versions screen moves both plugins back as a matching pair, so they always work together.
Before you install a beta
- Try it on a staging or test site first, not on the site your visitors rely on.
- Back up your site. Your settings and audio are kept, but a backup is always wise.
- When the final version is released, WordPress offers it to you as a normal update. Changed your mind before then? Use the new Versions screen, or reinstall the current version from WordPress.org.
- Found a problem, or have an idea? Report it to us directly (opens in a new tab). Beta reports are read first.
Your feedback builds the final release
Help us make it production-ready
Every report makes the final version better, and good news helps as much as bad. After you’ve used the beta for a while, tell us:
- What worked well
- What broke or felt slow
- What was confusing
- Which voice you chose, and why
It goes straight to our team, not the WordPress.org forum. In the form, paste a link to the page you tested and mention your version (2.4.0-beta.1, or Pro 3.5.0-beta.1).
